Publish documentation for D365 F&SCM
When you have done spelling and grammar corrections on the documentation, export the solution from the product VM and import it to the TI-10-DOCS VM.
Reasons:
Publishing to the docs.staedean.com website is done from the TI-10-DOCS VM.
The TI-10-DOCS VM serves as a documentation solutions repository.

When you have done spelling and grammar corrections on the documentation, export the solution from the product VM. On export, a content package is created containing all solution elements.
Procedure
1. Click Business process management.
2. In the list, select the solution.
3. Click Export.
4. In the Content package field, type a value.
5. Click OK.

When the solution is exported to a content package, create a data file and download it to a local folder.
Procedure
1. Click Business process file share.
2. On the Content packages tab, in the list, select the desired content package.
Note: Copy the content package name from the Content package field.
3. Click Create data file.
4. In the File name field, paste or enter the copied content package name.
5. Click OK.
6. Click the Data files tab.
7. In the list, select the desired data file.
8. Click Download.
Notes
Save a backup of the downloaded data file. To do so, go to your Downloads folder and move the downloaded data file to the 'STAEDEAN Documentation' team in Teams, to the General channel, to the Files > STAEDEAN DOCS backup folder.

On the TI-10-DOCS VM, import the downloaded data file to have the latest version of the solution available for publishing to the website.
The current TI-10-DOCS VM is: https://ti-10-docs4a7b1204826a3ce9devaos.cloudax.dynamics.com/
Procedure
1. Click Business process management.
2. Click Import Wizard.
3. In the Source of XML data field, select an option.
4. In the list, select the uploaded data file.
5. Click Next.
6. In the Options field, select an option.
Note: Usually, you overwrite the full solution to make sure to fully have the latest version of the solution available. So, you go with the default selection: Direct.
7. Click Next.
8. In the list, mark or unmark all rows.
9. Click Keep.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Finish.

If you need access to this VM, ask the technical writer our system administrator to add you as a user.
