Start the task recording from an activity. If you start a recording for the first time, the activity description is copied automatically to the task recording description. However, the task recorder only has ‘flat’ text. Therefore, at least, check the copied description on:

• Returns: are the returns positioned in the right place? If not, add them.
• Bulleted/numbered lists: manually add the ‘bullets’, use the hyphen (-).
• White lines: remove the white lines in the task recording description.

You are advised to do a recording in one go, without editing the steps at all and then save it to RapidValue. If you need a subtask, insert it during recording. Adding a subtask later can be quite cumbersome.
